How We Will
Work Together

The project will remain clear and collaborative without becoming unnecessarily rigid. A simple shared project tracker will give Shizuku visibility of work completed, work in progress, decisions or input required, and upcoming milestones. During active development, Rui and the relevant Shizuku team will hold an approximately fortnightly project review, alongside tastings and specific working sessions where required. The scope can be sensibly adjusted as the programme develops.

Where a simpler route is appropriate, or Shizuku can reasonably undertake work internally without compromising the programme, Rui may recommend this so specialist time and budget remain focused where they create the greatest value.

If a change or request is likely to materially extend the agreed scope, we will discuss it with Shizuku before proceeding with additional chargeable work.

Proposed
Project Fee

Based on the scope currently proposed, the indicative fee for the complete Tea Programme — Development, Sourcing & Stewardship is:

Indicative Project Fee
£17,500

A project-based estimate reflecting the anticipated body of specialist development, sourcing, assessment, testing, documentation, training and implementation required through to opening, rather than a strict calculation of billable hours. Some areas may ultimately require less work than anticipated and others more. Routine project communication, including short calls, emails and day-to-day coordination, forms part of the engagement and will not be individually timed or billed. Progress and workload will remain visible throughout. If the anticipated scope changes materially, we will discuss this before any corresponding change in fee.
